Calculate exact liquidation price for any crypto futures position
This calculator helps you determine the exact price at which your crypto futures position will be liquidated. Knowing your liquidation price is critical for risk management and avoiding unexpected losses.
What is liquidation? Liquidation occurs when your position's losses consume your margin, and the exchange forcefully closes your position to prevent further losses. In leveraged trading, this can happen with relatively small price movements.
Key factors that affect liquidation price:
Exchange-specific maintenance margins: Each exchange has different maintenance margin requirements that determine how close to breakeven your position can get before liquidation. This calculator uses real maintenance margin rates for Binance (0.4%), Bybit (0.5%), OKX (0.5%), Bitget (0.5%), and HyperLiquid (0.33%).
Isolated vs Cross Margin: In isolated margin mode, only the margin allocated to that specific position is at risk. In cross margin mode, your entire wallet balance backs the position, giving you more buffer before liquidation but putting your whole account at risk.
