A trading edge is a specific combination of market conditions that has been statistically validated to produce a positive expected return over many trades. TargetHit has 309 active trading edges, each discovered by machine learning and validated across out-of-sample historical data.
How many markets does TargetHit monitor?
TargetHit monitors 54 cryptocurrency pairs across 5 timeframes (1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, and 4 hours). The system runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What data does the AI analyze?

Auto-trading allows VIP members to connect their exchange account to TargetHit. When a signal fires, the system automatically opens a position on the connected exchange and manages the trade until the stop loss or take profit is reached.
Which exchanges support auto-trading?
TargetHit supports auto-trading on six exchanges: Binance, HyperLiquid, BYDFI, OKX, Bybit, and Bitget. Free users can trade signals manually on any exchange.
Is my exchange account safe?
TargetHit uses API keys with trading permissions only. Withdrawal permissions are never requested. Your funds remain in your exchange account at all times, and you can revoke API access instantly from your exchange settings.
Can I control position sizing?
Yes. Users set their own position size for auto-trades. You can also pause or disconnect auto-trading at any time from the TargetHit dashboard.

How do I sign up?

How do I choose which edges to follow?
Browse the edge catalog on the dashboard. Each edge shows its backtest win rate, expected value, signal count, and recent performance. Select edges that match your trading style, risk tolerance, and preferred coins.
How do I set up auto-trading?
Upgrade to VIP, then go to the Auto-Trade settings page. Enter your exchange API keys (trading permission only, never withdrawal). Select your position size and enable auto-trading. The system handles the rest.
What notifications will I receive?
When a signal fires, you receive a notification via Discord, Telegram, and/or email (your choice) with the coin, direction, entry price, stop loss, and take profit. You also receive a notification when the trade resolves with the outcome.

What is walk-forward validation?
Walk-forward validation is a method used by quantitative hedge funds to test trading strategies. The data is split into training and out-of-sample periods. The model learns patterns on the training data, then is tested on data it has never seen. This prevents overfitting — the main reason most retail strategies fail in live markets.
How are edges discovered?
TargetHit uses machine learning to search through millions of indicator combinations across 1,400+ data columns per coin. Each candidate edge must achieve a minimum 65% win rate in out-of-sample data with at least 15 sample trades before being deployed.
How often are new edges added?
New edge discovery is an ongoing process. The system continuously searches for new patterns as market conditions evolve. New edges are validated through the same rigorous walk-forward process before being added to the platform.
What happens if an edge stops performing?
Edge performance is monitored continuously. If an edge underperforms its historical benchmarks, it is reviewed and may be retired. The forward test pipeline compares real-time results against backtest expectations.
